The free online music maker that runs in your browser
Beatline is a full digital audio workstation (DAW) you can use online — no download, no signup, no cost. Sequence beats, play a built-in synth, mix your tracks and export an MP3, all from a browser tab. A free, open alternative to desktop DAWs like FL Studio.
Everything you need to make beats online
A real production workflow — sequencing, synthesis, mixing and export — with nothing to install.
Playlist & timeline
Arrange samples and instrument tracks on a bars-and-beats timeline with grid snap, zoom and drag-to-trim clips.
Piano roll & synth
Write melodies in the piano roll and shape them with a built-in subtractive synth — waveforms, filter, unison and a visual ADSR envelope you drag with four dots.
Automation with curves
Automate volume, pan, effect and synth parameters. Right-click any point to switch the segment between linear, smooth curve, hold or wave.
Mixer & effects
A channel strip per track plus a master bus: volume, pan, mute/solo and inserts like EQ, delay, reverb, saturation and more.
Sample editor
Drop in a WAV or MP3, zoom the waveform, select a region and slice it into segments to drag straight onto the timeline.
Export to MP3
Render your whole arrangement to an MP3 in the browser and download it — ready to share.

FAQ
Common questions about making music online with Beatline.
Is Beatline really free?
Yes — every feature is free, with no signup and no ads. If it's useful to you, there's an optional “Support” button, but nothing is locked behind it.
Is this an online version of FL Studio?
No. Beatline is an independent, browser-based DAW built from scratch. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or a copy of FL Studio or Image-Line. It's a free alternative for people who want to make beats online without installing desktop software.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Beatline runs entirely in your web browser using the Web Audio API. Open the page and you're producing.
Where are my projects saved?
Projects autosave locally in your browser, and you can export a project file (or an MP3) to keep a copy or move it to another machine.
Can I use my own samples?
Yes — drag in WAV or MP3 files, chop them in the built-in sample editor, and arrange them on the timeline.
