Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Welcome to Beatline — a digital audio workstation that runs in your browser at beatline.cloud (the “Service”). These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Beatline (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Beatline lets you compose, record, and mix music in the browser, save projects locally or to the cloud, collaborate with others, and share or showcase finished songs. The free plan includes a limited number of cloud projects; the Pro subscription unlocks additional features described in the app.

2. Your account

3. Subscriptions & billing

4. Your content

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to store or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or malicious; don’t attempt to disrupt the Service, abuse its APIs, inflate play counts, or access other people’s content without permission. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect copyright and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on Beatline infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to support@beatline.cloud including: (a) the URL of the infringing content, (b) identification of the copyrighted work, (c) your contact information, (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are (or represent) the rights holder. We will remove content that is the subject of a valid notice and may notify the uploader, who can submit a counter-notice. Repeat infringers’ accounts will be terminated.

7. Termination

You can stop using Beatline and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination we may delete your cloud content after a reasonable grace period.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise uninterrupted availability or that your data will never be lost — keep local exports of work you care about. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For meaningful changes we’ll give notice in the app or by email; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
