Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This policy explains what Beatline (beatline.cloud) collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a music app with accounts and payments, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t run ads.

1. What we collect

2. What we use it for

Running the Service: signing you in, storing and syncing your projects, processing subscriptions, showing play counts, preventing abuse, and fixing bugs. That’s it. We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t use your music to train anything.

3. Who processes it

Beatline runs on a small set of infrastructure providers, each processing data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, file storage, analytics), Neon (database), Clerk (authentication), and Stripe (payments). Each has its own privacy policy and appropriate safeguards.

4. What's public

Nothing, unless you make it so. Share links are unlisted but playable by anyone with the URL. Songs you publish to the community feed are public, along with the title, artist name you chose, and play count. Collaborators on a shared project can see the project and the email/name on your account.

5. Retention & deletion

6. Cookies

Only the ones needed to keep you signed in (set by Clerk). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us and we’ll honor them regardless of where you live.

8. Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully we’ll note it in the app. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
